Shipwreck on Cape Cod

Sebastian Junger, author of “The Perfect Storm” and a Truro homeowner, told a radio interviewer that he came across a piece of a ship’s hull near Ballston Beach in Truro last Friday. But when a park ranger went out to examine the wreck, there was nothing to be found.

Truro on Cape Cod Marks 300th Anniversary

Tomorrow, May 3, 2009, the town of Truro begins to celebrate the 300th anniversary of the date the town was founded. In recognition of this momentous occasion, Truro Vineyards will release two commemorative wines in May: “Truro 1709″ Merlot and Pinot Grigio.
